I used to be an accountant, now retired. Over the years, the accounting field became 60% female, and the men were pushed out the door. One of many fields where there is discrimination against men. I had to retrain to be a truck driver, and now that I am retired, I might look into this.

But the fact that you targeted this ad towards women is not encouraging

Which ad is targeted towards women? I do let people who have women-only groups advertise, but none of the ads in this edition were for women only resources or groups.

The opening section wasn't an ad. I just write what is on my mind. I think many people have great ideas and just let them sit on a shelf. I was hoping to motivate people to act on their good ideas.

I think it is impressive that my friend Erin put on a hugely successful event. I have no problem that it was for women only. If my daugher hadn't been graduating 5th grade I would have been there in attendance.

I am just sad that there aren't equivalent evnents for men. I'm a fan of men. I'm grateful for the good ones in my life. I want my sons to grow up to be virtuous men who have strong male friendships and learn from older men. I think there should be events where guys can support each other in their special guy ways, just like women benefit from gatherings of women.

I'm sorry you had a discriminatory experience based on your gender. I've had that, too. It is a terrible feeling.

Sometimes the feminists in Congress also think they are running women-only clubs, as they have made sure that breast cancer gets 3 times more taxpayer funds than prostate cancer gets. That will be a situation that your sons will have to face, along with every other man in the country.

I am participating in a lawsuit to make military draft registration no longer be a male-only club.

I hired lawyers and obtained settlements for the sex discrimination against men I faced in employment. It seemed that the feminists at work thought they could get away with discriminating against men, but it turned out that they couldn't.
